Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed two exits on the final day of the Premier Soccer League's transfer window.
Amakhosi had already let Keagan Dolly, Siyethemba Sithebe, Njabulo Ngcobo, S'fiso Hlanti & Jasond Gonzalez leave. Itumeleng Khune's contract was also not renewed and will be given a different role.
On Friday, the Glamour Boys confirmed two more players will not be part of their plans in the 2024/25 campaign.
Donay Jansen to Sekhukhune United
One of the players who has been given a chance to sharpen his skills is Jansen who recently signed a professional contract with the club.
“The offer of a new contract to Donay is a clear indication of the Club’s faith in KCYDA’s potential. By extending Donay’s deal until 2027, we are not only securing his immediate future but also making a long-term investment in a player seen as crucial for the Club's ambitions on the pitch.
“This move comes at a time when the Club is focused on building a competitive squad that can challenge other teams in both domestic and continental competitions in the near future,” club's Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr. stated.
He will now be playing for Babina Noko hoping to show his worth to be considered in the 2025/26 season for Amakhosi.
Sabelo Radebe to Richards Bay
As Afrik-Foot confirmed earlier, SuperSport United, AmaZulu FC, and Stellenbosch FC were among the Premier Soccer League teams interested in the service of the youngster, but it is the Nutal Rich Boys who have won the race.
Radebe is one of the Chiefs products who have struggled to break into the first line up since earning promotion to the first team in 2021.
Newly appointed Amakhosi Nasreddine Nabi indicated his intention to loan out a handful of players to ensure they gain valuable playing time, thereby allowing him to maintain a more manageable squad.
