Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has revealed what disappointed him during the Nedbank Cup clash against Stellenbosch despite advancing to the semi-finals.
Amakhosi clinched their Nedbank Cup semi-final place with a 3-1 triumph, Inacio Miguel, Mfundo Vilakazi, and Pule Mmodi all finding the net for the Amakhosi.
While Andre De Jong registered a goal for the home side, it ultimately served only as a consolation as Stellenbosch fell short against the visitors.
Coach Nabi admitted to feeling “disappointed” by the goal conceded. He pointed out that allowing a goal, especially in the match's closing stages when maintaining focus to secure the win should be the priority, was frustrating.

WHAT DISAPPOINTED NABI IN A MATCH AGAINST STELLIES
“It’s true that everyone is very happy, the supporters all across South Africa,” said Nabi.
“But we need to think like a big club, this was a test and we need to concentrate on the next test to go all the way.
“It was disappointing [to concede], but we knew that we were playing a very strong and tough team,” he continued.
“Even after conceding the goal we kept believing that can come back and we were prepared for extra-time.
“That’s why we brought in Shabalala, Vilakazi because we were planning for extra-time, planning to give us that extra strength.”
