Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana has been a hit for Romanian outfit FCSB since leaving Mzansi in the 2022/23 season.
He helped the Romanian outfit win the league for the first time in nine years and played a vital role in ensuring they play in the Europa League after failing to make the League Phase of the Uefa Champions League.
Ngezana has further made it to the Bafana Bafana national team, playing a vital role as the Hugo Broos-led side sealed a place in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations to be played in Morocco later this year.
His exploits have seen some top teams linked with the 27-year-old. Chances are high that he will not be with his current team after the conclusion of the ongoing 2024/25 campaign.
Ngezana reveals his wish

In his recent interview with iDiski Times, Ngezana has now revealed where he would love to play.
“God willing, I hope, I hope I reach that stage because it’s where each and every young player dreams to play in those [elite European] leagues,” he stated.
“English Premier League, Spain, Germany, France, you can name them, and it is one of the dreams that we wish to see ourselves. But for me to play in Europe, actually, I think, like it was one of my dreams. It didn’t matter where, but to play just in Europe.
“It was one of my dreams. And now I’m playing here, and then I can’t say like it’s enough. I’ll keep on striving. I’ll keep on knocking, and maybe one day I’ll see myself in the top leagues.”
