Kaizer Chiefs signed 10 players in the last two transfer windows in their bid to strengthen their squad.
Among the players who were signed were Njabulo Blom, who was brought in from MLS outfit St Louis City albeit on loan, and Thabo Cele who came in the January Transfer Window. The two are experienced players who have played big matches for both club and country.
However, at the Glamour Boys, the duo is yet to hit top gear. Blom, for instance, has been played in different positions after failing to prove he has what it takes to play in his favourite position in midfield.
Amakhosi legend Reneilwe Letsholonyane has now shared his mind on why the two South Africa international players are not finding it easy at Naturena.
Cele and Blom struggling for intensity?

“I feel like Blom’s struggles are the same as Thabo Cele’s; they are both struggling with the intensity since arriving from Europe. So I think for some reason because we know Blom because he played in the league before, we have become too hard on him. He will need time to readjust,” Letsholonyane told FarPost.
“Unfortunately for Blom, as I said, he was here before, and people are not expecting him to struggle with the intensity. But the truth is, when he wasn’t here, he needed to adjust to a different space and a different way of doing things.
“Now, he needs to readjust, and he will need time. I’m sure when he gets the intensity that is required for the PSL level and manages it properly, he will definitely be a key player.”
