Amakhosi are the only team with three PSL Reserve League wins as Bucs tasted maiden victory
Kaizer Chiefs remain the only team with a perfect record in the DStv Diski Challenge after recording a third straight victory while Orlando Pirates secured their first win.
Chiefs were 2-1 winners over Sekhukhune United on Saturday, just before their senior team started their PSL campaign with the same margin of victory, away to Marumo Gallants.
The junior Amakhosi had to come from a goal down to secure maximum points after their opponents took a first half lead before they responded in the second half.
How did the Buccaneers perform?
Meanwhile, Chiefs’ cross town rivals Pirates finally won their first game following a 2-0 victory over Marumo Gallants.
Siphamandoa Msezana and Seth Green were the scorers for Pirates who had started the season with back-to-back draws.
Victory pushed Pirates to fourth on the log, with five points from three matches, one behind Mamelodi Sundowns, who suffered their first loss of the season, having gone down 2-1 to Magesi FC.
Last season’s runners-up Sundowns had appeared to be on course for a great run but Magesi secured a shock result on Sunday to give them some reality check.

Cape Town City not messing around
In other matches, highest scorers Cape Town City moved to second on the log with seven points following a 3-1 victory over defending champions Stellenbosch FC on Sunday.
Cape Town have now scored 11 goals after starting the season with a 6-2 thrashing of Sekhukhune before a 2-2 draw against Pirates on matchday two.
In other matches played in the third week, SuperSport United recorded their third straight draw after a 1-1 stalemate with Chippa United, while Richards Bay and TS Galaxy as well as AmaZulu and Polokwane also recorded the same score.
