Former Kaizer Chiefs tactician Sergio Dos Santos has warned the club that it might be a massive mistake to sell their Congolese import Christian Saile.
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Chippa United in the ongoing transfer window, as coach Nasreddine Nabi hopes to get a striker to finish the many chances the team creates.
However, Santos feels the best the Glamour Boys should do is try to get a direct swap for Polokwane City's Oswin Appollis or send the versatile attacker on loan.
Saile has so much ability

“Like a lot of other guys at Chiefs, Saile seem to like he's going to do something, but somehow they can't get it right, they promise but they don't deliver,” he told Kick Off.
“Saile he's got so much ability, and he is quick, he can dribble, he can cross, he can shoot, he's got a lot of good qualities, he is a strong player. But sometimes during the game I don't know why he end up overrunning the ball, he loses position, and he does some funny strange things.
“The whole Chiefs team every game is different. If he goes to Chippa maybe he will be under less pressure. There's too much pressure at Chiefs and their players can't handle the pressure.”
Loan him and wait
“From what I can see Saile is very good on the left and the right side. But he doesn't do enough to show us what he can do,” Santos continued.
“There are times he does something terrific, come next time he loses the ball, in my opinion he is not doing the job, so loan him out and wait and see what transpires going forward, that way you can always bring him back to give him another chance.
“Personally I would loan him out, I would never sell him. But an excellent deal would be swapping him with Oswin Appollis. A very good player. He was with me at Ajax Cape Town in the juniors. We brought him when he was 14 years old.”
