‘Dlamini is lazy and poor, & don’t let Xoki travel! Pirates should lose Nedbank Cup, focus on PSL and Caf CL’

Published on by

Orlando Pirates continue their Nedbank Cup defense this weekend when they play SuperSport United at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

A win for either team will hand them a semi-final ticket; the Swanky Boys will get the motivation to go all the way and represent the country in the Caf Confederation Cup, while victory for the Soweto giants will bring them closer to their third consecutive crown.

Have a look at what the fans said ahead of the Saturday game.

Lose the Nedbank Cup and focus on PSL and CCL

Go there knowing that you are champions, don't be apologetic about it, but remain humble and come back with a win –  Thami Ramaila Mashele

It is going to be a difficult game now that we have a defensive crisis. It is common knowledge that players get injuries and some will be suspended. It boggles my mind that our Orlando Pirates didn't pay attention to that critical aspect of the game. Letting Sandile Mthethwa leave was a blunder –  Jongile Lefele

Start Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo ahead of Dlamini, that guy isn't giving us anything these days. I'm starting to believe that he is only good as a sub – Senzo Inno Mgoduka

Orlando Pirates should lose this Nedbank Cup trophy and focus on the Premier Soccer League and Caf Champions League – Shadrack Sesing

Please don't let Tapelo Xoki travel with the team, rather convert Deon Hotto to go to central defense – Sipho Kgetedi

Players need our support, don't bully them

Why did SuperSport decide to take that game to Old Peter Mokaba Stadium? It is not easy to win matches on that pitch – Rocky Andries Bopape

Players need our support, not bullying them. We all make mistakes but they must respect wearing the Orlando Pirates jersey and an opportunity like this comes once in a lifetime. Orlando P supporters need this win more than players – Sello John Lepota

Stop bashing Xoki, that guy used to be a key player for us before the injury and he will redeem himself – Bokamoso Morobane

Kabelo Dlamini is a lazy player, poor defensively, and lately, shooting is poor. Ndlondlo has been good but you bench him – Que Zengele Madikiza

This is going to be tough, it is not going to be easy. My concern is the middle area, clearly without Patrick Maswanganyi, we don't really function – Big Time Honor
