Kaizer Chiefs ascended to the summit of the table after a resounding 4-1 victory over TS Galaxy at Dobsonville Stadium. Youngster Naledi Hlongwane shone for Amakhosi, netting a brace, while Matala Makhubo and Kamogelo Malefo also found the back of the net. Chiefs now lead the standings with 30 points from 13 matches.

Lamontville Golden Arrows snapped a four-game winless streak with a 2-1 victory over Marumo Gallants in Bloemfontein. This crucial win lifted Abafana Bes'thende to 13th position with eight points from 13 matches.

Struggling Marumo Gallants remain winless this season, accumulating only three points from three draws. They currently occupy 15th place, one spot above bottom-placed Royal AM.
