Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Muhsin Ertugral has explained what makes Amakhosi new defender Inacio Miguel a “great leader” for the team.
Muhsin asserts that the Soweto giants have been in need of a player like the Angolan defender for some time.
Miguel joined Chiefs from Petro de Luanda before the start of the season, having seen limited playing time at his previous club.
He has made an immediate impact, participating in five matches and scoring one goal across all competitions.
Muhsin emphasises that Miguel excels in organising the team when he’s off the ball, a crucial aspect that Amakhosi had been missing.

MUHSIN ON ON INACIO MIGUEL – ‘HE UNDERSTANDS THE DYNAMISM OF THE GAME’
“The centre-back, Inacio Miguel, he is a very, very good signing. Even though he still needs to adapt, but for me, there’s lots of potential.
“And he’s a leader. I watched him against Sundowns, when the ball is in front, he’s always organising the team.
“That shows a leader. He takes responsibility, and I think he’s quick, technically gifted, and understands the dynamism of the game. That’s a great player for me.”
