Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Hleza Mofedi has shared his verdict on the club’s new signing Delvi Miguel Vieira known as Gilberto.
The 23-year-old has appeared in five matches since joining the Soweto giants from Petro de Luanda this season.
He has featured in two matches each in the CAF Champions League and MTN8, along with a single appearance in the Betway Premiership.
Mofedi believes that the Angolan winger has played sufficiently to show that he’s a good enough player.
He asserts that Gilberto is on par with the top wingers currently within the Pirates' squad.

FORMER BUCS MIDFIELDER GIVES ASSESSMENT ON GILBERTO
“The boy is good, and he knows his football. A lot was said about him when he arrived and I had to make sure that I follow him closely and from what I have seen so far in the games he has played, he has been impressive,” said Mofedi.
“He is skilful, and he's got speed and those are some of the qualities you need from a winger.
“If you have been following Pirates over the years, they always sign similar kind of players when it comes to wingers and for me this boy is in the same level as the best wingers we have seen at the club in recent times.
“That makes me want to believe that he will deliver the goods for the club. The club has done its research on him, knowing the kind of a player they want, and this one will do well.”
