Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Phumudzo Manenzhe has expressed his admiration for Kaizer Chiefs new signing Glody Lilepo.
Lilepo was among three players signed by Chiefs in the January transfer window, joining alongside striker Tashreeq Morris and midfielder Thabo Cele.
All three have impressed since being integrated into the squad by coach Nasreddine Nabi but Lilepo has done brilliantly, scoring three goals in four games.
Ex-Pirates star lauds Congolese winger

The winger does not just add goals but his work rate is also superb, his willingness to run at opponents and the channels exciting fans already, and among those who has high praise for him is Manenzhe, who now works as a pundit on SuperSport TV.
“Lilepo has been a great buy,” Manenzhe said on SuperSport TV’s Extra Time show of the Congolese winger bought for a reported R10 million.
“I love his speed, I love the runs he makes behind the last defender, his willingness to run into the spaces.
What has Lilepo added to Chiefs’ game?

“In this instance (against SuperSport United), you see how the ball is played slightly behind (Pule Mmodi) but he still has the time to recruit that ball back and the ability for him to be able to finish in that moment was excellent.
“For me, it is a team goal from Kaizer Chiefs where they attacked on the right and finished on the left,” he added.
Lilepo has been a nightmare for defenders since making his debut, playing on the right wing for Chiefs, with his pace and tenacity adding another dimension in attack for Nabi’s team.
Chiefs fans will hope to see more of him on Saturday when their team play away to Mamelodi Sundowns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
