Chippa United head coach Thabo September has revealed the reasons behind the collapse of the club's pursuit of free agent forward Kermit Erasmus.
Erasmus had been without a club since leaving Orlando Pirates at the end of the previous season.
Before being linked with Chippa, the striker first trained with Cape Town Spurs, however, he failed to secure a move.
Chippa were interested in him but according to September the two parties couldn’t agree on “certain things”.

WHY CHIPPA-ERASMUS DEAL COLLAPSED
“That deal, we couldn't agree on certain things. Especially the time frame. So we just couldn't agree,” said September.
“I don't know who wanted more, the other one wanted short, the other one wanted a little bit of long.”
This deal would have reunited Erasmus with September, his former teammate at SuperSport United.
In a surprising turn of events, Kermit Erasmus has joined Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars. The Mpumalanga-based club announced his signing on Thursday.
Excepts Pirates, the veteran striker has also previously played for Mamelodi Sundowns, Cape Town City, SuperSport United, Feyenood, Excelsior, Stade Reinnas, AFC Eskistuna and Victoria Setubal.
