Free Agents coach issues stern warning to troubled Kaizer Chiefs

Free Agents coach Olaitan Oladeru has issued a stern warning to troubled Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their Nedbank Cup clash.

The two sides will face off in the Round of 32 on Sunday, 26 January at 18:00 at the FNB Stadium.

With their hopes for league glory fading, Amakhosi are likely to view the cup competition as their primary opportunity to end their decade-long trophy drought.

In an interview with Kickoff, Oladeru, who manages the team competing in the ABC Motsepe League, expressed confidence in his side's ability to defeat their opponents, predicting a 2-0 victory.

‘WE WILL BEAT CHIEFS 2-0’

“We have a league match today at 18:00, which we are using as preparation for the weekend game. Currently, we are in 14th place after 18 matches,” Oladeru told KickOff.com.

“When this team was formed, we set ourselves several goals. Now, finding ourselves playing in the Nedbank Cup against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium is one of those goals we've achieved.

“At the moment, the club's ABC Motsepe League status is owned by my wife, who runs a beauty spa, while I serve as the head coach.

“We have nothing to lose; we are playing against one of the best teams in the country. Our focus is to go all out against Chiefs.

“It's a true battle of David and Goliath. We are an amateur side, although some of my players have experience playing professionally.

“I believe we will beat Chiefs 2-0. We might just pull it off.”
