Galaxy coach backs ex-Chiefs star for Bafana Bafana call-up

TS Galaxy manager Adnan Beganovic has voiced his support for former Kaizer Chiefs prodigy Puso Dithejane to be considered for the Bafana Bafana squad.

Dithejane was instrumental for the Rockets in their 1-1 draw against Amakhosi in the Betway Premiership on Saturday at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Having played in 24 league games and scored twice this season, the 20-year-old experienced a bittersweet moment when he squandered a last-gasp chance to defeat Chiefs at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

In his post-match interview, Beganovic commended his player, expressing his belief that with further development and increased match experience, the player has the potential to contribute significantly to both the club and Bafana Bafana in the future.

BEGANOVIC FULL OF PRAISE FOR PUSO DITHEJANE

โ€œPuso like all our young players he has improved a lot,โ€ said Beganovic as quoted by iDiski Times.

โ€œHe helped us a lot. Because heโ€™s young, he has energy, he has skills, he has power to attack and defend many times in the game and then heโ€™s on the top for 90 minutes. He just needs to grow up like soccer players.

โ€œHe needs to have games in the legs. But I think heโ€™s also nice future for the club, if he just stays on this road.

โ€œI think is a beautiful opportunity for this league also for the Bafana Bafana why not, he has amazing skills.โ€
