Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has fired a warning to his players ahead of the AFCON qualifying match against Congo Brazzaville on Tuesday.
South Africa thumped The Red Devils 5-0 last week in the first of their back-to-back clashes at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Hugo Broos’ men need just three points to secure the spot in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco.
During a pre-match press conference, Broos emphasized to his team that this match represents Congo's final opportunity to qualify for the continental tournament, and they will be eager to seize it.
He believes that the central African side will be motivated, playing in front of its crowd.

BROOS SAYS THIS IS CONGO’S LAST CHANCE TO KEEP AFCON QUALIFYING HOPES
“There is no other motivation than this one [to qualify],” said Broos at the press conference in Congo.
“This is for the second time considering that South Africa will be qualifying for the AFCON. We want to do it tomorrow. Sure, after the first leg result tomorrow is going to be a different game.
“If you lose 5-0 it is a humiliation. I’m sure that Congo players will want revenge tomorrow. They will be very motivated they will want to beat us and probably want the last chance to reach the qualification for the AFCON.
“If they lose tomorrow it’s finished for them. We know what we are expecting tomorrow. We are going to play against a team that may be different, motivated because at home after 29 minutes we were leading 2-0. Now tomorrow is a new game, three points to gain.
“Last Friday was a very wonderful night but tomorrow is something else and we are conscious of that.
