Botswana champions still hopeful of upsetting the Buccaneers despite the first leg deficit
Jwaneng Galaxy coach Morena Ramoreboli has told Orlando Pirates not to rely too much on their 2-0 Champions League advantage as he looks to spring a surprise in the return leg.
Pirates host the Botswana champions in the second leg of the preliminary round match but Jose Riveiro men enjoy a 2-0 lead secured in Gaborone last Saturday which will give them confidence of progressing to the group stages.
It would also complete their revenge mission over Galaxy who eliminated them from the competition at the same stage last season.
Why are Galaxy certain of upsetting Pirates?

However, Galaxy’s South African coach Ramoreboli has warned Riveiro and his men against taking them lightly as they are capable of wiping off the two-goal lead.
“Last season, we were sitting in the same position celebrating a 1-0 victory against Orlando Pirates. Today [Saturday], we’re sitting here after losing; we need to find strength from losing 2-0 at home,” said Ramoreboli.
“We need to find reasons to perform better in the second-leg. This was just the first-half, we are going for the second-half, and it can go either way.
Botswana champions oozing confidence

“So, leading 2-0 in a game of football, it’s not a safe lead. We still have 90 more minutes to play. I have always said we have the capability and ability to come back; we’ll definitely come back.”
During last season’s meeting, Galaxy won 1-0 in the first leg at home before losing by a similar margin at the Orlando Stadium, only to win the tie 5-4 on post-match penalties after a 1-1 aggregate score.
