Richards Bay FC have opted to terminate the loan spell of Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Sabelo Radebe before its scheduled end.
The 25-year-old midfielder arrived at the Natal Rich Boyz in September with the expectation of remaining for the entire 2024/25 season.
However, a lack of game time has plagued his stint, with Radebe featuring in only three matches, during his time in the northern part of KwaZulu-Natal.

SABELO RADEBE LEAVES RICHARDS BAY
According to FARPost, Radebe has left Richards Bay prematurely as a result. This development underscores a pattern at Richards Bay this season, where several loan players have seen their spells cut short due to limited opportunities.
Notably, Mamelodi Sundowns loanees Thando Buthelezi and Thabang Sibanyoni also departed Richards Bay earlier than planned for similar reasons, having made only four and nine appearances respectively before securing moves to other clubs.
Radebe was part of a group promoted to the Chiefs senior squad in 2021, and his return to his parent club comes earlier than anticipated.
Chiefs also have Mduduzi Mdantsane on loan at Richards Bay. He joined the KZN club in January this year and has also been struggling for game time.
Meanwhile, another Chiefs loanee at SuperSport United, Donay Jansen will also return in June when his loan spell ends.
