Kaizer Chiefs: Rushwin Dortley

Dortley made a name for himself at former Premier Soccer League side Cape Town Spurs. Amakhosi, who were rebuilding, felt they needed new blood at the back after last season's struggles.

Kaizer Chiefs: Tashreeq Morris

Ranga Chivaviro and Christian Saile struggled to get goals for Amakhosi contributing to their inconsistencies. Nabi asked the management to strengthen the department with the services of Morris who was a regular at SuperSport United.
