Letsholonyane gives honest view on Chiefs’ continued struggles under Nabi

Kaizer Chiefs legend Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane has given his verdict on the struggles of his former side under the leadership of Nasreddine Nabi.

The Tunisian tactician was brought to Naturena at the beginning of the season with hope to turn things around after the club has gone for over 10 years without winning a trophy.

However, things haven’t been going as expected with Amakhosi having won 10, lost 11 and drawn five of 26 matches under Nabi’s tutelage this season.

Chiefs have suffered two defeats in row now, losing the KZN clubs Richards Bay and Golden Arrows.

Letsholonyane says he “honestly” can’t tell where the problem is at Chiefs now. He believes the players have the will to win, however, it’s clearly not enough as they are not getting results.

LETSHOLONYANE’S OPINION ON CHIEFS

“I don't know what is really happening, except What you always see and watch in performance during games or what we pick up in the media. So I can't really say what is wrong,” ‘Yeye' initially shied away from giving his honest view, in an interview on Omniaudioafrica YouTube Channel as quoted by Soccer Laduma.

“But all I know, from a former footballer's perspective, I think they want to win, I think so, right? Is it enough? It's not because the results are not coming.

“You can't say it’s enough when the results are not coming,”
