Orlando Pirates legend Oupa Manyisa has revealed Bucs coach Jose Riveiro’s advantage over Kaizer Chiefs mentor Nasreddine Nabi ahead of the Soweto derby.
The much-anticipated clash between the two Soweto giants will take place on Saturday, 1 February in front of the sold-out crowd at FNB Stadium.
Manyisa believes Riveiro will be advantageous going into the match having experienced the derby in the past three years.
Meanwhile, this will be the first one for Nabi who only arrived at the beginning of the campaign.

‘IT’S ALL ABOUT BRAGGING RIGHTS’
“It can play a part but as footballers, we know that when it comes to the derby coaches don’t need to motivate us,” said Manyisa in an interview with iDiski Times.
“As players you motivate yourself. It’s all about bragging rights so the players have to go and showcase their talent and make sure that they do everything in their power to make sure that the game is nice and they win.”
However, Manyisa also cautioned that past performance means little in the unpredictable Soweto derby.
“Yeah it doesn’t count but this time around I see Pirates going all the way because they have been consistent.”
