The recently signed defender has shared what he brings to Amakhosi

Kaizer Chiefs new signing Migue Inacio has revealed his delight at having the opportunity to play for the club which he feels will help him take his career to the next level.

Inacio signed for Chiefs from Angolan giants Petro de Luanda last month and is already looking forward to the new season which will begin on Saturday when Chiefs play away to Marumo Gallants.

The Portugal-born defender has promised to give everything for his new side to ensure Amakhosi return to the top of South African football after their recent struggles.

What does Miguel Inacio bring to Kaizer Chiefs?

โ€œYou have to see the history and dimension of the club. As soon as I put my foot in South Africa and talked with people from Kaizer Chiefs, I realised this is the place I want to be, they will treat me good and help me to improve and we will grow together,โ€ said Inacio.

โ€œThe fans should come to the stadium and see when I get the chance to play. I do not want to talk about myself, let them see what I can do. It is just to put maximum effort in all the games, training and everything I do.โ€

Inacio then expressed his surprise at how talented some of his team-mates are, saying South African players have different qualities to what he brings to the club.

The defender is wowed by โ€˜so talentedโ€™ South Africans

โ€œWhat I have seen in the two weeks I have been here is that I am not so talented as compared to my team-mates,โ€ he added.

โ€œThe South African players are so talented technically. I am different, I put effort, I try to push them to show the best skills they have and this is my biggest quality.โ€

Inacio will hope to be involved from the start when Chiefs visit Gallants at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
