Rulani Mokwena joined Wydad Athletic club from Mamelodi Sundowns, promising to help the team get back to the top after their sixth-place finish in the 2023/24 edition.

Currently, the Red Castle are out of the race to win the Botola Pro league, owing to RS Berkane's good run, but they can still finish second on the table and qualify for the Caf Champions League for the 2025/26 campaign.

Nevertheless, the team will finish without a trophy but the improvement has been evident. Mokwena's agent confirmed his client is leaving at the end of the season. Have a look at what the football fans in Mzansi said.
