Kaizer Chiefs sporting director, Kaizer Motaung Jr., has emphasized the enduring influence of his father, chairman Kaizer Motaung Sr., on the club.
Since Motaung Jr.'s appointment to the position in 2021 – a newly created role at Chiefs – the club's owner, Motaung Sr., has gradually stepped back from day-to-day operations.
However, Motaung Jr. asserts that his father's impact on the club remains significant.
He maintains a high level of involvement and demands excellence from everyone associated with Kaizer Chiefs.
‘HE WANTS TO SEE THE CLUB AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL’
“The chairman is a perfectionist and is demanding much from everyone involved
in the club,” said Motaung in an interview with iDiski Times.
“He is very much our leader and is involved on a daily basis, walking the journey with us and demanding much from everyone involved.
“He wants to see this club at the highest level and achieve things he has as his vision. He wants us to be who we are – the Kaizer Chiefs of glory.”
