Kaizer Chiefs defied the odds to beat Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 and got their place in the Nedbank Cup final, where they will now play Sundowns in the Soweto Derby.

Masandawana scored their goal through Teboho Mokoena before the Glamour Boys responded courtesy of Wandile Duba and Ashley du Preez. The win at Loftus Versfeld Stadium eased the pressure on coach Nasreddine Nabi and the players.
