Nabi gives assessment on Chiefs debutants Cele and Lilepo

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has reacted to the showings of debutants Thabo Cele and Glody Lilepo.

The duo played for the first time for Amakhosi having joined the club in the January transfer window.

Cele and Lilepo entered the fray in second half and offered Kaizer Chiefs fans a glimpse of what's to come.

Cele's presence in midfield provided more control, while Lilepo injected some much-needed attacking flair as Chiefs pushed for a goal.

Nabi thanked the management for securing the services of the two players.

NABI GIVE THANKS TO MANAGEMENT FOR SECURING CELE AND LILEPO

“I believe that for the time they were on the field, they showed some good quality, but you must understand they only trained for four days after long trips from Europe,” said Nabi as quoted by iDiski Times.

“They weren’t training regularly before they came, but the few minutes they played you can see there’s quality so we’re happy for the players who came on – so thank you to the management for those signings.”
