Kaizer Chiefs suffered another heartbreaking loss in the Premier Soccer League after another loss last weekend.
The Glamour Boys suffered a shocking 2-0 loss against the Natal Rich Boys who have been struggling to get into the top eight on the table. Fezile Gcaba headed in Justice Figuareido’s freekick to give the hosts a deserved lead before Yanele Mbuthuma scored the second to seal the win.
It was a result that put in jeopardy Amakhosi's chances to qualify for the annual MTN8 competition. Despite signing some good players to help the team get the needed results, coach Nasreddine Nabi argues playing many games in a short time is not helping the situation.
‘We can work on certain things after the international break’

“I think we play games every three days and there is not really much you can work on when you play every three days. It's true that we have been struggling in that area and we hope that with the international break, where we can work on certain things,” the Tunisian stated after the recent defeat.
The Glamour Boys have been struggling to get goals regularly owing to the strikers' struggles. Nabi brought in Tashreeq Morris to help Ashley du Preez and Ranga Chivaviro but it seems there is still a problem, “I think the answer of the question will come after the end of the season after having assessed the squad and what it needs.
“We are in the process of rebuilding and a big team like Chiefs is not built in six or seven months. You need more time than that. We know exactly what we need to have a better team.”
Nabi responds to Cele's Bafana snub by Broos

Thabo Cele has been doing well for Chiefs, but coach Hugo Broos opted against having him in his team that will play Lesotho and Benin in the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.
“We have to respect the choices and the decisions of the national team coach,” the tactician responded when asked about it.
“Broos he’s the one who makes the choices which doesn’t take away our feeling that Thabo Cele is a very good player. And we hope that in the future he will go back to the national team. We know that by working hard that time will come.”
