Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has explained why his side didn’t deserve to come out victorious against Chippa United.
Amakhosi were held to a 0-0 stalemate in the Betway Premiership clash on Saturday afternoon at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
With this result, Chiefs remain in eighth place in the league standings having accumulated 31 points from 25 matches while Chippa are ninth with 30 after 23 games.
Nabi says the match against the Chilli Boys required 100% fight for them to collect three points away from home.
He feels his troops didn’t put maximum effort to get the desired result.

NABI SAYS CHIEFS DIDN’T PUT MAXIMUM EFFORT AGAINST CHIPPA
“I think it was a very tough game, to be honest with you we don’t deserve to win this game,” he said on SuperSport TV as quoted by iDiski Times.
“To win this game you must win challenges, you must be ready for every challenge, you must be number one for every ball.
“I think mentally we were not ready for this game. To win this game you have to be more than 100% ready to fight. Today, if I win it’s not correct.
“I need another mentality. I think today, all the team were [somewhat] out, out of the normal performance.”
