Nabi reveals what he desires from Sundowns team

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has revealed “the only thing” he desires from Mamelodi Sundowns team.

The Tunisian tactician was speaking to the media following their 1-0 loss to Masandawana at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.

Lucas Ribeiro Costa's first-half strike secured a Sundowns victory in what proved to be a hard-fought Betway Premiership match, further compounding coach Nabi's woes against the Brazilians.

This marked Nabi's third defeat at the hands of Sundowns since he became coach of the Phefeni Glamour Boys this season.

Post-match on Saturday, Nabi was asked about whether he could draw any insights from Sundowns' consistent success and playing philosophy that he could potentially utilize within his own squad.

WHAT NABI WOULD TAKE FROM SUNDOWNS

“I feel like it’s different players that we have, different materials. They have a lot of midfielders, we have wingers that are [tricky], so we have different ideas and materials,” he added.

“The only thing I would like to have from what Sundowns have is the number of players that they have…depth in their squad.”

Chiefs are now eighth in the league standings with 25 points after 19 league games.

They are next in action in the Betway Premiership clash against Magesi FC on Tuesday, 4 March at 7:30 PM.
