Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has reacted to the late penalty incident in the Soweto Derby, where Njabulo Blom was adjudged to have fouled Relebohile Mofokeng in stoppage time, leading to Patrick Maswanganyi's winning goal for Orlando Pirates.

Having just returned from a suspension, Nabi chose not to comment on the controversial penalty call or the referee.

NABI REACTS TO PIRATES PENALTY

“I'm not going to talk anymore about this type of referees. You will see in your studio if it was a penalty or not,” said Nabi.

“If I talk, red card. If I ask him about his family, red card. ‘How are you, red card.”

The Chiefs coach also believed their performance warranted a better outcome.

“We gave them a lot of problems, especially in our pressing to not let them be comfortable with the ball, because we know it's very technical team,” he added.

“If you let them play, you give them confidence. At some point they were playing a lot of long-balls.

“There were some good moments for us and some good moments for them, but we firmly believe that it's a game the we don't deserve to lose.”
