Kaizer Chiefs graduate Siyabonga Ngezana is hungry to see his dream of playing against Manchester United come true.

Ngezana has risen rapidly in the last two years after joining FCSB from boyhood team Amakhosi. The 27-year-old played a critical role in helping the Romanian outfit win the domestic league title for the first time in nine years.

FCSB are now in the Europa League and almost into the last 16. They are currently eighth on the League Phase table with 14 points. On Thursday, they will host Manchester United in the final game on the stage. The Red Devils are fourth with 15 points which puts them in a great position to advance to the last 16.

Ngezana has revealed how he longed to play against the best in the world, a dream that is close to becoming a reality.

I can't wait to play against Manchester United

“Actually, I’ve been thinking about this since the draw, since we’ve been in the same group with Manchester United,” the Bafana Bafana international said as quoted by iDiski Times.

“For me, it’s a dream come true, playing against the team that I support. Manchester, if you can see like it’s rich in history, and just playing against them, I feel like for me, it’s a dream come true, because it’s a team that I grew up supporting in the [Premier League].

“So, I mean, I felt like everything, it’s coming together right now at this moment. And I can’t wait! I can’t wait, because every training session, every training session, every chance that I get it, every workout that I do, I always think about Manchester.

“It’s kind of like I can say it’s a motivation itself; it’s a motivation itself. And I hope to play that game because right now I’m getting some injuries that I don’t understand, but I hope I will play that game. I hope to play that game,” Ngezana concluded.
