Orlando Pirates have denied that winger Monnapule Saleng and midfielfer Patrick Maswangayi are a subject of transfer interest from the Middle East and Portugal.
Saleng’s future has come under scrutiny following his absence from the squad for most of this season and reports have linked him away from the club with interest from the Middle East and Portugal reported.
However, while they have not commented on the player’s whereabouts, Pirates insist there have been no talks regarding Saleng with any club as has been reported.
Bucs deny interest in winger from abroad

“Orlando Pirates Football Club categorically denies ever receiving any offer from a Middle Eastern club for the services of Monnapule Saleng,” the club said through a statement.
Pirates also deny that a Portuguese club has made a R40 million offer for Maswangayi with a view of signing the attacking midfielder.
“Once again, the club categorically rejects this as sheer gossip. No such offer has been presented to the club,” added Pirates.
Does Saleng have a future at Pirates?

“It is deeply troubling that these baseless stories are not only misleading but also serve to disrupt the focus of our players and destabilise the team. This is entirely unacceptable.
“As a professional organisation, Orlando Pirates Football Club remains committed to conducting our business with integrity and transparency.”
