Oswin Appollis boost for Kaizer Chiefs following MC Alger delay?

Kaizer Chiefs may still have a chance to acquire the Polokwane City star Oswin Appollis as negotiations with MC Alger are reportedly experiencing delays.

Yes, Polokwane City reportedly made it clear that they would never listen to the offers from local clubs. However, Amakhosi could still seize this opportunity if the MC Alger move falls as the player expressed his desire for a new challenge.

Polokwane has previously turned down multiple offers from Chiefs for the Bafana Bafana midfielder. Meanwhile, AmaZulu FC were also among the clubs that expressed their interest in bringing the player on board.

Additionally, Rise and Shine also said no to Esperance who were said to have tabled a massive offer for the 23-year-old attacker after they had just signed another South African player in Elias Mokwana.

APPOLLIS EXPRESSED DESIRE FOR NEW CHALLENGE

It appears that before the club’s MTN8 match against Mamelodi Sundowns, Appollis told the club he’d want to move on just before the closure of the transfer window.

Subsequently, the Limpopo outfit opened the door when MC Alger, who had lost Youcef Bellaili, knocked on the door. It was reported that Polokwane ultimately agreed to sell the SuperSport United product to the Algerian club.

The next step was for the two clubs to sign a transfer agreement before Alger discuss personal terms with Appollis.

But now new information from iDiski Times suggests that there are delays as the two clubs have yet to agree on a fee and Alger are preparing to bring R10 million which is around Polokwane’s asking price.

So far, Amakhosi have signed Gaston Sirino, Bongani Sam, Rushwin Dortley, Fiacre Ntwari and Inacio Miguel.
