‘Pirates should make TikTok videos & promote Amapiano music! Chiefs are stronger when playing Stellies, PSL is gone’

The majority of Orlando Pirates fans have seemingly given up on their team's chances of winning the Premier Soccer League.

The Sea Robbers were held to a goalless draw by 10-man Stellenbosch on Tuesday night in the South African top-tier game staged at Athlone Stadium. They are now 18 points behind the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns who beat AmaZulu 2-0.

Have a look at what the fans said after the latest disappointing outing.

Sundowns are gone with the title

Let us go and make TikTok videos and promote Amapiano music because we can't win football games anymore –  Seipati Bhakajuju Kometsi

The honest truth Buccaneers is that the league is long gone. The sooner you accept that, the less frustrated you will be with results like these. We’re chasing a moving target. We just need to try and grab the Nedbank Cup and, or Caf Champions League, both of which are within reasonable reach than the league title –  Hlatshwayo Tshepo Theonel

Sometimes you've got to leave room for disappointment. It's about time we accept that Sundowns are gone with the title and stop giving ourselves false hope. This Pirates team is not consistent enough to surpass Sundowns or even win the league – Nonhlanhla Dube

Truth must be told guys, Kaizer Chiefs are stronger than us when playing Stellenbosch –  Locrecia Mologadi

Our management sacrificed a good, promising, and almost perfect season. They put their pride first, and we don't even have attacking players anymore. We might as well wrap this season because I don't even think we'll win the Nedbank Cup; I don't even want to talk about Caf Champions League, Why didn't they fix the Monnapule Saleng issue, but still go out to loan out Otladisa and Gilberto? – Kgopotso Nosi

Without Saleng, you are going nowhere

Some players are selfish and play for individual glory! We will never win the Premier Soccer League – Mbali Joseph

The domestic cups made us believe that we have a good squad but the truth is we don't have quality players and our coach is good but not good enough to win us the league. Our only hope is the Nedbank Cup – Tshepang Moeti

Without Monnapule Saleng, you are not going anywhere. You better fix things with him before you lose the Nedbank Cup and Caf Champions League – Dona M EImo

Kabelo Dlamini is bad starting the game, Patrick Maswanganyi is bad coming from the bench. Tshegofatso Mabasa didn't give us anything and Evidence Makgopa was on the bench. Worse still, you chose to bring in Bandile Shandu. Let us forget the Premier Soccer League – Les Da Baker

Seems like Dr. Irvin Khoza is slowly running out of tactics. This referees' envelope thing is no longer working because they chow his money and forget everything when they're on the field – Mighty Nabi
