Orlando Pirates made the Caf Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night after a goalless draw with MC Alger at the Orlando Stadium.
Having won the initial meeting by a solitary goal, the Sea Robbers advanced after a 1-0 aggregate victory against the Algerian outfit. As a matter of fact, they will play the Egyptian outfit Pyramids in the last four hurdle.
The first leg is scheduled for Friday, April 18, in Johannesburg, with the second one to be played in Egypt seven days later. The Sea Robbers are chasing the second star to add up to the one they won in 1995. Mamelodi Sundowns and the defending champions Al Ahly are the other two teams set to clash in the second semi-final.
Bucs' Stadium Setback

The Buccaneers were set to host Pyramids at the Orlando Stadium, their usual home, but it will not be the case.
The venue has been booked by a prominent megachurch based in Soweto, which is called Grace Bible Church. The denomination will host a three-day Easter Conference that starts on Friday, April 18, and runs through Sunday, April 20. The Stadium Management of South Africa, which manages both the FNB and Orlando Stadium, had hired the venue before the fixture's confirmation.
Pirates will now host Pyramids at the FNB Stadium, hoping to get a positive result to stand a chance of advancing.
Prior to the Caf Champions League outing, Pirates have another tough assignment on Sunday when they host Marumo Gallants at the Orlando Stadium. The Sea Robbers are aiming at going all the way to win the annual competition for the third time in a row.
