Pitso Mosimane has revealed two offers that he recently received as he’s currently unattached after leaving Abha Club.

Mosimane departed the Saudi Arabian club after they were relegated to the second-tier at the end of the previous season.

‘Jingles’ has been without a job for more than three months now, focusing on his project of the Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools.

In a recent interview with SABC Sport, he expressed a preference for pursuing a national team job rather than returning to club management.

THE KIND OF JOB PITSO MOSIMANE WANTS

“The World Cup I’ve done with a country was once,” he said, as per SABC Sport.

“So maybe with the national team, I must say that interest me more [than with a club]. And also national team, doesn’t mean [just] anyone. A National team that you think you can go to the semi-final.

“And when you go to the semi-final, go to the final and when you’re in the final, you might as well win it.”

He went on to reveal that he and his camp have received two enquiries from the “West African countries” who are interested in his services.

He further stated that should he return to coaching a club, he would be keen on reestablishing himself in the Arab Gulf region.

TWO OFFERS THAT MOSIMANE RECENTLY RECEIVED

“Unless it’s a club again where we need to play more in space. Saudi will always be there also, Qatar will always be there,” he added.

“We had calls with even West-African countries, two! And ones I said, ‘yeah, these are the ones’. But things are done different in those spaces.

“You asked yourself what happened, there’s a space, the call comes back… It’s not easy to [understand], when there is space for the ministry and also space for the football federation.

“There’s always clashes somewhere there, the ministry, because they pay for the coach, they want this coach, the football federation want that coach. Hopefully we’ll get one that goes together.”
