‘Pitso Mosimane treated me unjustly’ – International star striker claims

Published on by

South African coach Pitso Mosimane had success at Al Ahly during his stint that lasted between 2020 and 2022.

During his spell with the Red Devils, Jingles won the Egyptian Premier League, two Caf Champions League titles and as many Super Cups before his unceremonious exit. The majority of players looked happy and ready to deliver

However, Egypt international attacker Mahmoud Kahraba has claimed Mosimane was not fair to him.

Unfair Jingles?

Kharaba says he was delivering for his team before being sidelined without any justification by the technical team that was led by Mosimane.

“Mosimane treated me unjustly a lot, even in the division I was scoring goals but he insisted on not drawing attention to me,” he opened up to MBC Masr 2.

“May God suffice me and He is the best disposer of affairs for some officials who wronged me, such as Magdy Abdel-Ghani and Ahmed Megahed, in addition to the fines imposed on him, which reached 81 million [Egyptian] pounds, and the contract signed with Zamalek was the cause of these problems.”

Koller, another problem?

Marcel Kohler

Bafana Bafana international Percy Tau fell out with Marcel Kohler before leaving for Qatar SC. Kahraba – who is set to join Libya's Al-Ittihad SC albeit on loan, has now claimed he is not in good books with the Swiss.

“I was doing well until Koller brought in Modeste, and then he started to rely on him basically,” he continued.

“I was shining and my teammates were helping me perform at my best, but I felt that I was better than Modeste. I am a player who relies on participating in matches to improve my physical fitness, not just on physical training that might cause me to get injured.

“I seek to return to Al Ahly to participate in the [2025 Fifa] Club World Cup,” he concluded.
