Many Kaizer Chiefs fans have expressed concerns about their newly appointed coach, Nasreddine Nabi, communicating through an interpreter.
The Tunisian tactician took over the reins of the team following the departure of Cavin Johnson, who served as interim coach for eight months. Johnson had replaced Molefi Ntseki, who was dismissed after a three-month tenure.
Nabi has been tasked with the responsibility to bring back the glory days at Amakhosi who have failed to lift the trophy in the past nine seasons.
He brings a wealth of experience to the club having previously enjoyed great success with Young Africans, where he won two consecutive trebles before moving to AS FAR Rabat.
At Rabat, he finished second in the 2024/25 Botola Pro League, narrowly missing out on the title by one point to Raja Casablanca, who remained undefeated throughout the previous campaign.
While there is hope that Nabi can turn things around at Chiefs, the club's supporters are expressing concerns about his limited English proficiency.
During the Betway Premiership launch, fans raised questions about how Nabi will effectively communicate with the players.
