Supporters of the South African top flight will catch all games at the lowest possible price
PSL fans have a chance to watch the Betway Premiership at the lowest possible price following a partnership between SuperSport TV and Showmax.
Starting this weekend, all PSL matches will be available to Showmax Premier League subscribers at no additional cost, meaning they can watch all the 380 English top flight games, and also stream every PSL match live, including major cup competitions such as the Carling Knockout Cup, MTN8, and Nedbank Cup, for just R69 per month.
This will kick off effectively this week when Matchweek 1 takes place with Royal AM hosting Cape Town City at the Harry Gwala Stadium at 3pm, while Nasreddine Nabi begins his Kaizer Chiefs reign away to Marumo Gallants at 5.30pm all on Saturday.
Deal is a major game-changer
Champions Mamelodi Sundowns are not in league action until Tuesday 17 September when they face SuperSport United at home at 7:30pm while cup kings Orlando Pirates, who will be contesting the MTN8 final against Stellenbosch FC at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on October 5, start their league challenge campaign against Chippa United on Wednesday 18 September at 7:30pm.
“This is a game-changer for South African football. Bringing Premier Soccer League football to Showmax is a huge win for the PSL and our supporters. This partnership opens new doors for fans to enjoy the sport they love, wherever they are,” said PSL Acting CEO, Mato Madlala in regards to the new partnership.

Who will lift the brand-new trophy?
Marc Jury, CEO of Showmax, weighed in, saying: “We’re thrilled to offer South Africa’s most popular football league to our customers. The combination of the Premier League and the PSL on our powerful live-streaming platform represents extraordinary value.”
The new Betway Premiership season will see all 16 top tier clubs vie for a chance to lift the brand-new trophy, which was unveiled at a recent launch in Sandton, Johannesburg.
