PSL goalkeeper offered to Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs are said to have been offered Magesi FC goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze who’s been one of the standout performers for the Limpopo outfit this season.

The Zimbabwean shot-stopper was once a forgotten man when he was in the second-tier with Baroka FC and Dikwena tša Meetse.

He played a pivotal role in guiding Magesi to promotion to the Betway Premiership and was instrumental in their Carling Knockout Cup triumph, earning the Man of the Match award in all four of their matches in the competition.

Amakhosi have also been linked with a number of goalkeepers including Chippa United’s Stanley Nwabali as they’re reportedly in search of goalkeeper.

CHIEFS OFFERED CHIPEZEZE?

“Elvis Chipezeze has had an impressive start With Magesi in their first season in the PSL (topflight) and he is encouraged to achieve more,” said Soccer Laduma’s source.

“He did very well in helping the team to win the Carling Knockout. Have you ever heard of a player winning Man of the Match awards in four games in a row in a major cup competition?

“That's unheard of and that speaks volumes about his quality as a goalkeeper.

“He is a player with big dreams, and he has got the experience to qualify him to play for any team in the League.

“I can confirm that Elvis has been offered to Chiefs because those who know him well know that he can play for the team. For now, there is nothing concrete, but the player has been offered, and it is up to the club to make a decision.”
