Former Bafana Bafana international Tsepo Masilela insists Keagan Dolly might find himself struggling to find a team in the Premier Soccer League just like Khama Billiat after his exit from Kaizer Chiefs.
The Zimbabwe international failed to get a new team in Mzansi after Amakhosi's exit and is currently playing for Yadah Stars.
The 31-year-old, who was reportedly earning R1 million a month, tried with SuperSport United after leaving the Glamour Boys, but the Swanky Boys opted to sign Vincent Pule.
Why is Dolly struggling to get a team?
“I think when you are coming from a team like Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Orlando Pirates, the first thing that comes to their [teams] minds, is that this guy was earning a lot of money,” Masilela told Soccer Beat.

“Before they even approach you, they have already made conclusions that this guy will need a lot of money only because you were playing for Chiefs, it happened to me after leaving Chiefs, I had to stay for a couple of months.
“For Keagan, there were talks that he was earning over a million at Chiefs and he said that all those numbers were wrong. So it put pressure on him as a player, like how people and his teammates look at him.”
Like Billiat, Dolly to get a team away from Mzansi?
After returning home, Billiat has since managed to get his mojo back, and was part of the Zimbabwe national team that played Zimbabwe and Cameroon respectively in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Masilela now argues Dolly must be open to other options if he fails to get a team in the Premier Soccer League.

“Now it's tough for him to find a new club because people think he is earning that much and he will need a lot of money,” the former South Africa international continued.
“It’s tough in South Africa, once you are over 30 and having played for the big teams it's tough to get a new team.
“I thought Khama Billiat would still be playing in the PSL, I thought he could help some PSL teams, but he is in Zimbabwe now, it's a similar situation with that of Dolly. We also have Maluleke in the NFD, so yeah, it happens and we are still going to see it happen.”
