Royal AM players have received a major reprieve following news that a new buyer for the club has been found.
The club has been suspended by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) since playing their last match on December 29 when owner Shauwn Mkhize got into financial problems with the SARS, forcing the tax collector to seize her assets, including the club.
Now, as per SABC, a Durban-based businessman has purchased the club from SARS, having beaten other bidders from Mpumalanga, Free State, Gauteng and DR Congo and that the PSL will now confirm the new owners and give the club the go ahead.
Who is the new Royal AM owner?

The public broadcaster further says that Royal AM players have been ordered to report back for training on Thursday and that the new owner intends to retain the technical staff with huge bonuses promised to players if they perform well.
The club has seen their 13 matches postponed in all competitions and still have 11 PSL games to play but are rooted at the bottom of the table with just eight points from 11 league games.
Not much has been given regarding the new owner but Afrik-Foot understands it is a horse enthusiast from Durban in businessman Roy Moodley.
Possible home venues for Twihli Twahla

He is considering playing home matches at either the Harry Gwala Stadium or the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Reports also claim Moodley purchased the club for R35 million, pending approval by the PSL.
Mkhize had been in default of her tax obligations, forcing SARS to appoint a curator to seize the club as a result.
There had been reports that the club would find a buyer from Free State following sentiments from Sports Minister Gayton McKenzie but it appears the Durban-based businessman had an offer that was too good to resist.
