The former Mamelodi Sundowns tactician has shared his road-map for the new team.
Wydad Athletic Club coach Rulani Mokwena is determined to help the Moroccan outfit to be a force to reckon with in the continent.
The 37-year-old signed with the North Africans a couple of days ago, earning a three-year deal to lead the Red Castle. The South African is in the early stages of restructuring his technical team to ensure chances of realising set objectives are high.
The team finished sixth in the Botola Pro League last season, and the task to get back to the top will not be a walk in the park.

Mokwena determined to deliver – ‘We need to leave the jersey better than we found it'
In his first interview with the club, the vocal tactician opened up about how it felt when he was approached to coach and lead the team.
He has further explained why he needs quality players at Wydad ahead of a tough season locally and abroad.
“There was a bit of surprise particularly how Wydad showed interest in my services… There is a lot of humility and appreciation for how much Wydad were eager and excited to have me on board as one of the head coaches,” Mokwena told the club's media team.
“We have got a lot to achieve; everybody knows how difficult the situation at the club is at the moment. No single player has left… and first, we will have to improve those players and make them better.
“The club has to show an incredible desire to invest in the squad because we are in a position at the moment where we don't have a squad that, at the moment, is ready for the World Cup. We have a lot of work to do. On that, I have been reassured that I will get all the support I need, and we will give our best,” the former Orlando Pirates coach added.
“We need to try and get more Caf Champions League titles and we will start working on that. For a club of our magnitude, three Champions League titles are not enough. We need to leave the jersey better than we found it.”
Wydad Casablanca will represent the continent in the expanded 2025 Fifa Club World Cup alongside Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Ahly and Esperance.
