Despite facing pressure from fans after a series of draws and a Throne Cup exit, Wydad Athletic Club coach Rulani Mokwena has confirmed he will finish the season.
He emphasized his respect for the supporters and indicated he would leave the club respectfully.
Recent talks with management and his agent confirmed his commitment to completing the current season, where Wydad still has a chance to qualify for continental competitions.

‘OF COURSE IT’S GONNA BE DIFFICULT’
“Of course, it’s gonna be difficult because of the results and it has to be difficult that’s what happens in a big team so I have to take it,” Mokwena told the media after his side’s 1-1 draw in the Casablanca derby.
“I have to take risks to win games that’s it. If it’s not good enough it’s okay.
“I told you guys I will be here, I will finish the season. I will leave Wydad in the front door not the backdoor, not the window.
“I will leave Wydad with a lot of respect for the people of Morocco, a big respect for the club and that’s it.
“I’m a coach that takes risks, I want to win games and that’s it.”
Mokwena arrived at Wydad at the beginning of the season after he was sacked by Mamelodi Sundowns.
