Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has celebrated reaching a rare milestone, speaking out after scoring his 100th goal for the Brazilians.
The Namibian forward achieved this century mark by netting one of the two goals in Masandawana's 2-0 victory over AmaZulu FC in the Betway Premiership on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
According to OptaJabu, Shalulile has now become only the second player in PSL history to score 100 goals for a single club, following in the footsteps of Daniel Mudau, who holds the record of 110 for the Tshwane giants.
The 31-year-old is also rapidly approaching Siyabonga Nomvethe’s PSL all-time goal record of 129. Currently, Shalulile has an impressive tally of 127 goals in the top-flight.
WHAT SHALULILE SAID AFTER REACHING 100-GOAL LANDMARK
“The journey without God, it’s impossible to achieve [things],” he told Mamelodi Sundowns TV.

“But with God, I achieved it through my teammates also, the coaching staff that were here, the ones that I started with and the ones that are here.
“I’d like to thank the supporters and the teammates but mostly Christ Jesus who was with me throughout this journey.
“It was not easy, we should say it has been years of working hard and determination and discipline. But it finally came through.
“The gratitude really goes to Lord, my teammates who have been pushing me and also the opponents that we play against.
“Those are the reasons why…when you see another striker doing well, you also want to do well.
“So, for me, I just feel happy and I feel like I can do more. I’d just like to thank the supporters for always coming out in numbers to support us through thick and thin.
“It has been a good journey man and we keep on going.”
