The summer Premier League transfer window was closed on Friday, August 30 with some good players getting new teams.
One of the biggest deals that were done included Southampton getting Arsenal shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale who was the fans' favourite at the Emirates, and the interesting signing of Raheem Sterling from Chelsea, but on loan. Last season's runners-up also sold their graduate Eddie Nketiah to Crystal Palace.
Champions Manchester City have not been so busy as usual but they re-signed Ilkay Gundogan after one season in Spain with Barcelona.
Manchester United sold midfielder Scott McTominay to Serie A outfit Napoli with PSG's Manuel Ugarte filling his void in the Erik Ten Hag squad. Chelsea got their wish of signing Jadon Sancho who has failed to settle at Manchester United.
Have a look at what the fans had to say after the conclusion of the transfer window.
Raheem Sterling – Chelsea to Arsenal
Palmer won't be a top scorers scorer this season because we just deducted Sterling's penalties – Felix Ngamia WaMautuma
Finally, he’s free! Good luck Sterling, I have a feeling that you are going to win the league and the Champions League with Arsenal this season – Leon Matovu
Let's be realistic, Sterling is far much better than Mudryk in every aspect – Sam Nzuki
Never a Sterling fan but the way the club treated him was a disgrace, so good luck to him – Steven Alexander
Scott McTominay – Manchester United to Napoli
One of the guys whose body language speaks for him and not his performance, we will for sure miss his dedication and passion to win even though. Good luck Scott – Ugochukwu Eze
I am glad that Scott is not moving to another EPL club to come back and hurt us like Welbeck has been doing since leaving Old Trafford – Terver Akase
One of Manchester United's biggest mistakes is to let McTominay leave Old Trafford. He had real passion – Peter Mokoena
McTominay's exit is a big loss again after that of David de Gea and Fred – Nyapara Jnr
Aaron Ramsdale – Arsenal to Southampton
Despite how he was treated by the coach, Ramsdale was professional throughout. I wish him all the very best and I hope Arteta is making the best decision by letting him go. My fear for him was when he wasn't getting any game time even for the FA Cup. I still think Arsenal should have kept him – Ola Mat Olo
Rambo will come back to haunt Mikel Arteta during Arsenal's game with Southampton. Just watch out and see – Bill Anyiga Wanyika
Good luck wishing you all the best. You will be missed here. You were a great goalie for Arsenal and we will miss your passion. Hope you now get England No1 with regular playing time – Jean Jacqueline
Rambo made such a huge positive impact on the team in such a short time, good luck to you Aaron. You are a large part of the reason we are where we are now and too good to sit on the bench. Good luck getting those England No.1 gloves off Pickford now! – Greg Soder
