Sundowns and Khuliso Mudau set to part ways? ‘We haven’t found each other at this stage’ – Agent claims

Mamelodi Sundowns have several players who will be out of contract at the end of the ongoing 2024/25 season.

Sipho Mbule, Marcelo Allende, Devine Lunga, Terrence Mashego, Rivaldo Coetzee, Sphelele Mkhulise and Mothobi Mvala, alongside Khuliso Mudau have a couple of months remaining in their current deal with Masandawana.

Of the aforementioned players, Allende and Mudau have been a factor for the reigning Premier Soccer League champions. The latter, for instance, has been consistent for both the club and Bafana Bafana.

The 29-year-old has attracted the attention of some top clubs, including overseas, explaining why nothing has been agreed yet between him and the Brazillians.

Steve Kepeluschnick has conceded that despite the negotiations, there are some things that have not been agreed upon by both parties.

“Yeah, his contract is coming to an end, they have options [to extend], we have been trying to negotiate with them for a new contract, but we haven’t found each other at this stage,” Kepeluschnick told FARPost.

Mudau joined Sundowns in 2020 from the Black Leopards, signing an initial five-year deal that he has been discreetly serving. However, rumours have it that he wants a bumper raise owing to his quality and contribution to the team.

Since joining Masandawana, he has played 144 games across all competitions with a return of eight goals and four assists. In the ongoing campaign, he has made 22 appearances in all tournaments, scored three goals and provided two assists.
