Mamelodi Sundowns have been given a friendly warning by their legend Wayne Arendse ahead of facing Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League.
The Brazilians will welcome the Club of the Century in the semifinal first leg on Saturday, 19 April at Loftus Versfeld Stadium at 3 PM.
The sides will be battling for a coveted spot in the final.
Ahead of the encounter, Arendse expressed his hope that Masandawana will have what it takes to secure a victory over the Egyptian powerhouse on home soil.
However, the former defender also cautioned Sundowns against underestimating Al Ahly, despite their perceived poor performances during the group stages.

ARENDSE SAYS SUNDOWNS MUST NOT UNDERESTIMATE AL AHLY
“Historically, Al Ahly have never been overly convincing in their wins, but they consistently reach the knockout stages. They know how to navigate this Champions League,” Arendse told KickOff.com.
“So, you can't underestimate them thinking they are no longer the same Ahly. I can assure you they are a strong team, which is why they have made it to the semi-finals.
“On Saturday, the stadium will be full, so Sundowns just need to be clinical and take their opportunities. They are in the semi-finals now, and it’s the right time to push for the final.
“They should respect Al Ahly, while also having the confidence to attack. But they must remain cautious at the back. At times, they might try to overplay, but they should aim to score at least two goals, especially since they are playing at home.”
