TS Galaxy vs Orlando Pirates: Preview, line-up & where to watch

Published on by

Orlando Pirates will be making a trip to the Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday to play TS Galaxy, going for nothing less but a win to cement their place on the Premier Soccer League table.

The Soweto Giants have been doing well this season, and are seen as the only team capable of challenging Mamelodi Sundowns for the prestigious title.

The Brazilians have won the last seven editions, while Bucs have gone without the PSL trophy for a decade.

Head-to-head

Matches between TS Galaxy and Bucs have been entertaining since every side pushes for nothing but a win.

In the last five games, the Sea Robbers have managed three wins with the Rockets claiming two victories.

Form Guide

In the Premier Soccer League, the Buccaneers are the only team with a 100 percent winning record. They are currently on 15 points.

Galaxy have not found it easy; they collected their first point last weekend when they drew 1-1 with Marumo Gallants.

Prior to that game, they had lost all their previous three engagements.

Team News and Probable XI

Galaxy will have to do without the services of Dzenan Zamovic who is serving a two-match ban after his red card in the Carling Knockout game against Chippa United.

Victor Letsoalo is another player who is out of action after two bookable offenses in the aforementioned fixture.

Pirates lost Deano Van Rooyen to what looked like a hamstring injury in the latest game against AmaZulu. The defender joins Nigeria international Olisa Ndah in the treatment room.
