WATCH: Thembinkosi Lorch opens Wydad account as Rulani stumble again

Thembinkosi Lorch scored his first goal for Rulani Mokwena's Wydad Casablanca on Saturday night.

However, it wasn't enough to secure a victory as they drew 1-1 with Ittihad Tanger. They dropped points, extending their winless streak.

Despite Lorch's 31st-minute opener, which came in a Botola Pro match they entered hoping to bounce back and secure a CAF Champions League spot, Wydad conceded a late equalizer in the 78th minute from IR Tanger's Haytham El Bahja.

Cassius Mailula started on the bench for Wydad. This draw marks Wydad's fourth consecutive league draw, leaving them in fourth place, two points behind the final Champions League qualification spot.

The result also confirmed RS Berkane as the Botola Pro champions.
