Kaizer Chiefs have been uncharacteristically quiet in the ongoing transfer window despite the fact that the Premier Soccer League is scheduled to start on August 17.
So far, the Glamour Boys have confirmed the exits of four players – Njabulo Ngcobo, Sifiso Hlanti, Keagan Dolly, and Siyethemba Sithebe. It is an open secret that veteran legendary goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune will not be part of the playing unit after serving the Soweto giants for the last 25 years.
Edmilson Dove and George Matlou's contracts were extended by a year after the initial one had expired on June 21.
Recently, the club's Football Manager Bobby Motaung revealed the supporters will have a chance to know who has been signed on July 28.
Afrik-Foot takes a closer look at the Glamour Boys and reveals players who might be unveiled in the next 11 days.
Bongani Sam
This is the first signing made by Amakhosi in what is seen as a direct replacement for the 34-year-old Hlanti.
For the last three seasons, Sam has been playing on loan for Maritzburg United and Moroka Swallows respectively. In the concluded campaign, the 26-year-old made 15 appearances across all competitions and despite being a defender, he managed to create two assists.

Lebo Mothiba
The South Africa international is a free agent after being released by French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
He was seen at the Naturena village a couple of weeks ago, fueling claims that the club might be chasing his services.
However, Mothiba has a solid interest from Belgium which might see Amakhosi miss out. But what if the 28-year-old had a confidential agreement with the management? he surely can fill the void left by Dolly.

Bongani Zungu
The experienced 31-year-old midfielder made a shocking call to quit Mamelodi Sundowns after two seasons.
He is a proven winner who can help any team perform at the highest level. Zungu shared a video on his Instagram account showing he is in Turkey where Chiefs are camping.
Some club's supporters believe discussions have already taken place and that Zungu can come in as Sithebe's replacement.
Oswin Appollis
The Bafana Bafana international had his best season, arguably, with Polokwane City where he went on to play a total of 31 matches across all competitions, scoring seven goals and creating five assists in the process.
He was part of Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana squad for competitive assignments and Chiefs have already inquired about him.
The 22-year-old might just be a solution for Amakhosi, especially in the inconsistent attacking department.

Fiacre Ntwari
A few fans anticipated this move since Stanley Nwabali was the one who was heavily linked with the Soweto giants.
Ntwari has already agreed to join Chiefs ahead of the new season, and surely, he will be among the players who will be unveiled.
The Rwanda international will have to show he is better than Bruce Bvuma and Brandon Petersen.
